Mexican American actress Salma Hayek has signed a new film, Cirque de Freak, to be directed by Paul Weitz. The film, based on Darren Shan?s best-selling children?s book, stars John C. Reilly in the lead.
John C. Reilly will play the role of a vampire; Hayek will play the role of a bearded lady named Madame Truska. This is Hayek?s first film after she gave birth to a daughter on September 21, 2007.
